ARTA has undertaken a feasibility study to assess the potential for the development of a train station at Parnell adjacent to the mainsteam site.

The study has concluded that a station could be placed in this location and that the site would allow for the Newmarket Heritage Building. Although development of a Parnell Station is in ARTA’s forward planning no funding for its construction is currently available.
